She started competing at age 8 in competitions and has won over 50 junior titles within the span of four years. Lee's debut LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 Portland Classic. The winner devoted the win to her late grandfather Min. "He was always called me an champion and he always believed in me." The win was dedicated to her grandfather, who passed away in the past, who she said always called me an athlete and believed in me. She previously competed in soccer taekwondo and figure skating.
